Are you interested in community living where people can experience playfulness, creativity, simplicity and meaning through all of the stages of their lives, combined with the hope that the community we strive to create might serve as a new model for retirement living?
That’s what Fiddlehead Corner is designed to do. This innovative housing community was conceived, designed, and will be developed by a cooperative which includes dancers, musicians, artists and outdoor enthusiasts.
Located on 90 acres of wooded land in Orange County, NC, southwest of Hillsborough, the plans for Fiddlehead Corner include a dance hall in the common building, outdoor spaces including trails and gardens, and innovative health care for all stages of life. The community would be built on 30 acres, leaving 60 acres in their forested state.
As a “55+ community”, 80% of households must include one person aged 55 or older.
